Privacy Badger est un module d'extension pour Firefox et Chrome créé par l'Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF)

Toujours très bien, l'EFF.

Le problème reste entier avec les sites visités. On ne traite que les sites tiers. Lorsque l'on va, directement, sur les GAFAT ( Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon et Twitter ), ce ne sont pas des sites tiers visités ! Ensuite, ils mettent en place ce " Principe d'encerclement " où il n'est pas question de bloquer les serveurs tiers (essayez de bloquer les serveurs des APIs de Google, dont nous parlions hier, par exemple !).

l'EFF parle de Do Not Track. Do not Track est un souhait émis dans l'entête HTTP. C'est là que le bât blesse, car l'entête HTTP a déjà été envoyée, à ce moment-là, et le serveur du site visité ainsi que tous les serveurs tiers (ceux des régies publicitaires et autres serveurs de ressources tierces) l'ont déjà reçue. Que pèse un bit positionné à zéro ou un pour simplement exprimer un souhait, une supplique du malheureux internaute, surveillé (donc coupable (de quoi ?)) par des centaines d'agences inconnues qui se prennent chacune pour un Service des Renseignements Généraux (Service d'espionnage intérieur français), face aux milliards d'US$ que rapportent nos données privées à chaque acteur du tracking.

Le principe général reste entier :

  1. Dénonciation - Protestation
  2. Élaboration d'outils et procédures de défense et protection ET NOUS EN RESTONS LA !

  3. Proposition

Rien ni personne ne propose de solution (pas plus Assiste, d'ailleurs que l'EFF ou la Quadrature du Net).

L'obligation mondiale de l'Opt-In (Acceptation de l'internaute d'entrer dans un mécanisme) au lieu de l'Opt-Out (Désir de l'internaute de sortir d'un mécanisme) serait une solution qu'Assiste propose.
Une autre proposition serait l'encapsulation de toutes les données privées dans un coffre-fort numérique qui ne s'ouvre que sur action physique du détenteur (empreinte, iris, clé radio fréquence activée...).

Les traces de navigation (tout ce qui est considéré comme relevant de la navigation privée - dont les Clickstream - « Flux de clics » - Surveiller chaque internaute), doivent être considérées comme des données privées.

Mais là, on se heurte aux intérêts économiques des tiers, aux intérêts économiques des gouvernements (l'argent doit circuler - la TVA et toutes autres méthodes doivent pomper au passage - où s'arrête mon intérêt pour des hôpitaux, des écoles, une administration, une infrastructure routière etc. ...) et aux intérêts de protection des populations (donc notre propre intérêt par certains côtés - où est la frontière entre ma vie privée et la protection préventive ? Peut-on pénétrer ma vie privée sous ce prétexte ?) aux prétextes de 11 septembre et de Charlie.

privacy badger est un add on pour navigateur qui protége la vie privée.
Contrairement à d'autres outils, il s'adapte en temps réel et n'utilise pas de listes pré-établie de sites mailveillants. Il analyse le comportement des la page web, et réagit en conséquence.
J'en ai lu beaucoup de bien, je l'ai installé pour le tester. Pour l'instant, il réagit correctement, c'est à dire qu'il bloque ce qu'il doit bloquer, et laisse passer ce qu'il doit laisser passer.

Je n'avais pas communiqué sur les mises à jour de Privacy Badger tant cet outil est installé et fait son boulot silencieusement (mais vous accès à l'historique des mises à jour depuis sa fiche).

Bonsoir, ce module est simple d'utilisation, surtout il ne casse pas les sites et se fait oublier.
Une chose que j'apprécie avec Privacy Badger, c'est de pouvoir bloquer le tracking tout en autorisant la publicité avec la couleur jaune dans le curseur.
